How this tool works
Total compensation adds salary, bonus, annual vesting equity, salary times the match percentage, and 12 months of healthcare subsidy. Divide by (52 − PTO days ÷ 5) × 40 plus 52 weeks of commuting. Both roles assume a 40-hour week. Equity is uncertain and benefits are not take-home cash. Commuting is counted for all 52 weeks as specified.
Common questions
Does total compensation equal take-home pay?
No. This estimate includes employer benefits and equity before taxes. Check vesting terms and benefit eligibility before comparing offers.
How does paid time off affect hourly pay?
Paid time off reduces the working hours in the denominator. The model keeps annual compensation unchanged and assumes five workdays per week.
Will syncing automatically change my scores?
Syncing keeps your result as a reference in this browser tab. Complete the Financial and Time questionnaires to update those scores; dollar amounts do not directly determine a score.
